I’m dreaming of an Artsy Christmas

yes… lame, I know… But the thing is, I’ve just discovered two major cool artist/works of art that I want to share.

First out we have swedish Michael Johanson who apperently had an 8-bit overdose and got inspired by Tetris and the Pantone colour guide. It’s massive, impressive and quirky. More here

Then we have the LA based studio Ball-Nogues who did a piece with American apparell. It’s really big, intruiging and way way way beautiful. Check out the rest here

all for now and a merry christmas untill next time

Native Internet?

Jeffrey Augustine is the artist behind the “Dream CAPTCHA”and if you’ve ever had a myspace account, tried to post something on a website or even just wanted to acces an area of a webpage, you’ve probably encountered a CAPTCHA. But i bet this is the first one you’ve tried in art form.

You can check some of the others out here and maybe browse through some of his other works.

all for now and untill next time

Panoramic what what?

Panoramic Dioramas! Yes, I have little clue of how to put those words together but it’s interactive art online. It’s like the school dioramas but with an extra dimension. It’s an universe where you can move about and everything will change or rearrange around you. Sometimes a little quiet and other times stressfull.

Mitch Trale is an artist working in this field and you should check out his work here – My favourite is Polyhedron or Eye Cancer Is Easy (2009)

Snakes and Ladders

It makes no sense but you still try to figure out how the tiles should be connected. And there is no final solution but our minds want one. One we can’t have and that’s why I love this site :)

My boyfriend is back

or at least my computer is back and up and running – and OH! the joy! I will be blogging again and i will be stumbling and I will enjoy wathing Glee online again :)

anyways – Whilst having nothing to do since my life apparently is lived through my computer, and otherwise only consist of working for the man and sleeping, I re-found my creative side (or what ever you call it without being all girly about it)

Yes – it’s paper, and I’m cutting it… into shapes and stuff with stuff… First one was made because I was attending a party with a bird theme (no story, sorry – to weird and to drunk) and the other because I needed something for the bare wall in my “living room/office”.

and what did I listen to while i was cutting you say? – well… right now it’s Modern Drift by Efterklang… it’s the soundtrack of my state of mind these days and really makes me mellow and comfy

check it out here
